North Tonawanda, To Mr. Alanson Chase Deuel of this- city, was quietly solemnized at 8:30 o'clock last evening at the home of the bride's mother. The Rev..Mr. Ross, pastor of the Calvary Presbyterian church of North Tonawanda, Officiated. Mrs. Walter Beyer of Pittsburgh acted as- matron of honor and Mr. Herbert "Deuel of Buffalo, a brother of-the bridegroom. was his'attendant. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Deuel de- parted for New York City from where they will sail March 2nd for Havana, Cuba. On their return they will re- side at No. 510 Jefferson avenue.

  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 12/29/1930 Mrs. May Brock Deuel, wife of Alanson C. Deuel, died at an early hour Saturday morning at the family home Lewiston Heights after an illness of little more than a week. A weakened constitution, aggravated by pneumonia, proved more than science and skill could cope with. Mrs. Deuel was a daughter of the late Walter D. and Elizabeth Schwinger Brock of North Tona- wanda. She came to Niagara Falls in her early girlhood and was united in marriage to Alanson Chase Deuel, publisher of the Niagara Falls Gazette. Prominent and active in the social life ol the community for many years, Mrs Deuel had acquired a witie circle of friends to whom news of her death came with shocking force. Funeral services are to be held at the Lewiston Heights home this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. A. C. Van Raalte. pastor of the First Presbyterian church will officiate. Interment will be in Riverdale cemetery at Niagara Falls.
