Mr. Birdsall for m a n y y e a r s conducted a b l a c k s m i t h shop and m a n u f a c t u r e d there the s p i k e s used in the t w o g o v e r n m e n t piers in Olcott. He r e t i r e d f r om a c t i v e life several years a g o . The d e c e a s e d Is s u r v i v e d by his w i f e , t w o s o n s , Clarence and George B i r d s a l l , and a sister. Mrs. Charles Lockwood, all of Olcott. F u n e r a l will be held at the h o m e in West Main 6 t r e e t W e d n e s d a y afternoon.
