- Kevin J. Falsetti, 71, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 7, 2024, at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elma (Mattila) Falsetti.
Kevin graduated from Niagara Falls High School and earned his Bachelor's degree from Buffalo State College. He retired from Laborer's Local 91 after many years of dedicated service. Kevin was an excellent athlete, which began at an early age competing in youth baseball and football. He continued to play softball and was an avid golfer. In addition, he was an outstanding pool player, winning over 186 city championships throughout Western New York and Canada.
Kevin formerly coached his kids' soccer and baseball teams, sharing his love for sports with the next generation. A jack of all trades, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to family members and friends. Above all, Kevin cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren.
Kevin is survived by his children, Nicholas (Alicia) Falsetti NFFD, Samuel Falsetti, and Lauren Falsetti; his grandchildren, Vincenzo, Christian, Nicholas II, Nina and Noah; his siblings, Gary Falsetti, Michele (John) Passalaqua, and Karen (Richard) Wainman; his former wife and close friend, Christine (Iacovitti) Falsetti; his beloved dog, who was his pride and joy, LC; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph 'Rob' (Jacquelyn) Falsetti.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, from 3 - 7 PM at MJ Colucci Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin on Saturday, December 14, at 9:45 AM, followed by Kevin's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
