He moved to Florida in 1972 and worked with his son, Brian, in the glass and window business in Pompano Beach up until his death. He is survived by two sons, Brian L. Ewald and Gary l. Ewald, both of Ft. Lauderdale. Burial was Monday morning (October 23, 1989) in Friedens Cemetery, North Tonawanda, N.Y.
