  Gertrude M. Matheis passed away June 11, 2020 in Elderwood at Wheatfield. Born June 27, 1925 in Tonawanda, she was the daughter of Philip and Rosa (Schenle) Krull. Gertrude worked in production for RJ Reynolds in Lockport. She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Herbert Matheis, on April 23, 2020 Gertrude is survived by her two sons, Robert (Naomi) Matheis and Kenneth (Sandy) Matheis; grandchildren, Robert (Bianca) Matheis, Jr., Philip Matheis, and Susan Matheis; sisters, Helen (late Frank) Loiars and Dorothy Bald; several nieces and nephews.
