  Niagara Gazette - 4/10/1953 Gustave R. Ellman Dies; Lived in Falls 40 Years Gustave R. Ellman. 451 Elmwood avenue, died today at his home after, being ill since October. Mr. Ellman, who was 77 years old was born in Germany and had resided in this city 40 years, He had worked for the Aluminum company and then for the United States post office for seven years before retiring five years ago because of poor heallh. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church. Surviving are his wife. Minnie Lemke Ellman: three daughters and one son. Harold Ellman and Mrs. Hennry I.aMonte, this city, and Mrs. Henry Drake and Mrs. David Tay- lor, North Tonawanda; a sister. Mrs. Mary Urtel, St. Johnsburg. ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the Otto Redanz Funeral home on Monday at 2 p.m.. with the Rev. Paul Hartenberger officiating. Interment wiII be in Memorial Park cemetery.
