  Buffalo News, The (NY) - August 18, 1999 Ruth B. Wendt, 86, of Shawnee Road, who was a homemaker most of her life, died Monday (Aug. 16, 1999) in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, after a long illness. The former Ruth Broeker was a lifelong resident of Wheatfield and a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Ervin R.; four sons, Roger of North Tonawanda, Noel of Littleton, Colo., Gerald and Leon; a sister, Helen Human; and two grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in St. Paul Church, Old Falls Boulevard, North Tonawanda. Burial will be in the church cemetery
