- "DOLPP -- Ralph L. Dolpp, Sr., 54, of 16 Broughton St., Tonawanda, died suddenly Sunday morning (Sept. 8, 1957) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Ann Smead of Bradford, Pa., one son, Ralph L., Jr.; two grandchildren, Michael William and Melanie Ann Dolpp; two brothers, Arthur and Charles Dolpp, and three sisters, Mrs. Alice Winters, Mrs. May Main and Miss Florence Dolpp, all of the Tonawandas.
Mr. Dolpp was a lifelong resident of the Tonawandas and was an employee of the Robert Gair Co., for 23 years. He was a member of Local 137, United Paper Makers and Paper Workers Union, also the Third Warders Club.
Friends may call at the Hilliard Funeral Home, 147 Delaware St., where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Walter Hetzel will officiate. Interment in Elmlawn Cemetery." Tonawanda NEWS, September 10, 1957
