Judith Ann Burdick, age 85, on September 29th, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Evelyn Surdel. Loving wife of Douglas Burdick and mother of Douglas (Christine) Burdick, Keith (Barb) Burdick, Scott Burdick, Bonnie May, and Todd (Nancy) Burdick. Cherished grandmother of Shane (Michelle) Reed, Edward (Chelsey) May, Natasha (Daniel) Zeal, Andrew Burdick, Alexander (Andrea) Burdick, Jessica Burdick, Jennipher (Zach) Burdick, Courtney (Jason) Burley, Sarah (Zachary) Pietricone, and Rebekah Dunn. Great Grandmother of Ethan, Preston, Amelia, Addison, Delaney, Joelle, Savannah, Todd, Dominick, Trevor, Alanna, and Dylan. Sister of Richard (Joan) Surdel, Timothy (Diane) Surdel, the late Ernest (late Mary) Wittcop, and late Allen Surdel.
udy lived her life with an adventurous spirit and a true “can do” attitude that inspired everyone around her. She poured her creativity into her artwork, found joy and focus on the golf course, and embraced the freedom of the open water as a proud yachtsman. But above all her passions and accomplishments, Judy’s greatest treasures were her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, a nurturing and supportive mother, and a proud grandmother whose heart overflowed with joy for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may visit at Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver Street, corner of Ward Road, on Wednesday from 4:00PM – 7:00PM. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery on Thursday at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation in her memory.
