- Bruce L. Alexis, age 71 of Niagara Falls, NY, entered into rest on May 20, 2025 at his residence, while under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice. Born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on November 13, 1953. He was the son of Dennis and Betty (Peterson) Alexis. Bruce was employed as a truck driver with multiple companies, and in local factories, retiring in 2015. He was a member of the Buff Social Club, was an avid sports fan, particularly the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. Bruce also loved spending time with his two cats, Speckles and Peanut.Survivors include his wife, Colleen (Johnston) Alexis, whom he married October 6, 1973; three children, Bruce E. Alexis of Niagara Falls, Michelle (KC) Ahlas of Lewiston, and Paul (Judy) Alexis of Niagara Falls; a brother, Gary Alexis; three grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew and Rylie Alexis; and several nieces and nephews.Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Roger, Norman and Paul Alexis.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Saturday (May 24) from 1-4 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Good, at 4:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation. A private interment will take place in Niagara Falls Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice, or to the Niagara Presbyterian Church.
