- Robert Jerome Noworyta, age 56 of Niagara Falls, NY, entered into rest on August 29, 2024 at his residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 13, 1968; son of John and Shirley (Rice) Noworyta. A graduate of Niagara Falls High School, class of 1986. Robert was employed as a firefighter with the Niagara Falls Fire Department, until his disability retirement. He was the recipient of the Levy Brothers Memorial Award, a member of the Retired Firefighters Association, and the LaSalle Sportsman's Club. He loved fishing, hunting, ATV riding with his sons, listening to music, playing with his dogs throughout the years, traveling, played and enjoyed watching hockey, baseball and football, but most of all the time spent with his wife of 37 years.Survivors include his loving wife, Denise L. (DelVecchio) Noworyta, whom he married July 25, 1987; his mother, Shirley Noworyta; two sons, Robert and Joshua J. Noworyta both of Niagara Falls; brothers and sisters, Victoria Noworyta, Marie Rosati, Diane (predeceased Mike) Stiner, John (Cindy) Noworyta, sister-in-law, Lisa DeVantier; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanine and Greg Gerbec; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.Preceded in death by his father, John Noworyta; a brother, William Noworyta; and brother-in-law, Robert DelVecchio.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Saturday (September 7) from 1-3 p.m. Family and friends may share memories they have of Robert, following visitation.
