- Jane F. Fox Obituary
Jane Louise Fox (Finley) of Newfane, NY entered into peaceful rest on the 8 th of June, 2025 at home with
her family and caregivers by her side. She was born in Hornell, NY on February 9, 1942, a daughter of
the late Daniel and Eleanor (Whitmarsh) Finley.
Loving mother of Gary (Barbara) Bowers Jr of Wrights Corners. NY, Dale Bowers of Floral City, FL, Brenda
Bowers of Newberry, FL, and June (Bob) Fox of Newfane, NY . Dear sister of Mary (the late Seymour)
Martin and Ronald (April) Finley. Cherished grandmother of Adam, Melanie, Christopher, Amanda, the
late Matthew, Alicia, Lacey, Ashley, and Cristy. Proud great-grandmother of Lyla, Jared, Joel, Kera,
Carter, Kora, Malek, Lucas, Senna, Zoe, and Alaina.
Jane took great pride creating beautiful families with her late husbands, Gary Bowers and Robert Fox.
She worked for many years as a successful business owner of both Jane’s Place Hair Salon and Divinity
Religious Shop in Pompano Beach, FL before retiring to Floral City, FL in 2002 where she was baptized as
one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 2008.
Jane devoted her life to caring for those less fortunate and always assisted others in need whether
family, friend or stranger. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, music and sewing; but most of all, she
treasured time spent at home with her loved ones.
Special thanks is given to Niagara Hospice and especially to her three in-home caregivers (Tammy, Jamie
and Debbie) who provided great comfort and care during her final days.
