- Vicki Fadel Life story
It is with great sadness that we announce Vicki Lee Fadel, 72, passed from this life on May 3, 2025. The former Vicki Lee McClellan was born in Niagara Falls, New York, to the late James H. McClellan and Pauline (Schultz) McClellan. She attended Starpoint Central School and graduated from Niagara County Community College with an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. She married David Le Fadel on July 8, 1972 after the two met as students at the old “Nabisco Tech,” then an emerging community college. After raising her children and spending a decade in social work, Vicki worked alongside her husband, Dave, at a Registered Investment Advisor firm they founded together and with others.
Vicki and Dave had a great life together. She shared unique relationships with each of her daughters and was a second mother to three of her grandchildren: Noah, Madison, and Elijah Fadel. She enjoyed taking long walks, especially through Fort Niagara and Artpark. She was maybe most happy on a walking trail and among gardens blooming with flowers, where she no doubt felt close to God. She was a lifelong learner with a keen interest in local history and was an avid reader who regularly borrowed an armload of books from the public library. She would even read to others if they wished. She loved art and created a small collection of her own drawings and paintings over the years. She was an animal lover who grew up riding horses and cared deeply for many family pets, notably Taj, her beautiful black Labrador mix, and Coco, the family cat who recently passed away after 19 years.
Vicki is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dave, her daughters Christin (Brian) Kibby, Jessica (Michael) O’Donnell, and Carolyn (Frank Sheusi) Fadel, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three brothers, four sisters and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by one brother and two sisters. In place of a funeral, Vicki will be remembered in a private memorial gathering at the family’s convenience.
Vicki’s family has entrusted her care to the Goodlander family, OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE (716-297-9007). Share condolences and memories at GOODLANDERCARES.com
