  Richard Stanley Roszel January 4, 1945 - February 11, 2022 Richard S. Roszel, lifetime resident of the Town of Niagara, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022.  He was 77.  He was born in Niagara Falls on January 4, 1945, a son of the late Roy Woodrow and Yvette Gertrude (LeBlanc) Roszel.  He attended local schools and then worked at Carbon Graphite for 25 years retiring as a millwright. Richard was a member of Niagara Active Volunteer Fire Company for over 60 years where he served in various capacities including the fire police. Mr. Roszel is survived by two children: Richard S. (late Stacey) Roszel and John (Geneva) Roszel, 5 grandchildren: Richard S. (Ashley) Roszel, Jr., Samantha (Frank Nowak, Sr.) Roszel, Steven Roszel, Amber Roszel and Lori (Brandon Gilmore) Roszel, three step-grandchildren: Brandon (Enny Powell) Livergood, Koreena (Tim) Linkowski and Shawn Livergood.  He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren: Alana Roszel, Brayden Roszel, Frank Nowak, Jr., Gauge Clark, Samira Gilmore, Marcellus Gilmore and Magdalena Linkowski. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife Susan (MacMillan) Roszel and two siblings: Roy (late Lynn) Roszel and Patty (late Larry) Abbey.
