- Carol M. Watroba, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on September 3, 1939, the daughter of the late Clarence and Martina [Considine] Kimmes.
Mrs. Watroba graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was a data processor with Airco-Speer which became Carbon Graphite for over 25 years before retiring in 1995. She loved spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren. Mrs. Watroba enjoyed taking care of her garden, cooking, playing cards and being with her friends.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Watroba, who died in December of 2011. Mrs. Watroba is survived by her son Joseph F. (Kimi) Watroba, a daughter Martina M. Hagar both of Niagara Falls, NY, four grandchildren Brittany, Joseph, Charles and Corrine, one great granddaughter Ava, a brother Francis M. Kimmes; she is also survived by Cynda Watroba and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Jennifer L. Watroba.
The family will be present on Friday, from 5-8 PM, at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11:30 AM at St. Peter's Church 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY, with Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating.
