The marriage of Miss Elda Raver-
inni, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
Raverinni, of 3039 Panama street,
Town of Niagara, and Mr. Alistair
Wiseman, son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. William Wiseman, of this city,
took place recently at St. Ther-
esa's rectory. The Rev. John
Ormsby performed the double ring
ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a white brocaded
gown, with square neckline, leg-
o'mutton sleeves and long, full
train. She wore a fingertip veil of
illusion net which fell from a leaf
coronet fashioned in seed pearls.
She carried a colonial bouquet of
red roses and baby's breath.
Miss Tina Raverinni, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor. She wore
a baby blue brocaded gown, cut on
princess lines with three-quarters-
length sleeves and sweetheart neck-
line. She wore a shoulder-length
blue veil falling from a coronet of
roses. She carried a colonial bou-
quet of pink chrysanthemums and
deep pink pompoms.
Mr. Roland Wiseman, brother of
the bridegroom, was the best man.
The reception which was held at
the home of the bride's parents was
for the immediate families. A three-
tiered wedding cake centered the
bride's table.
After short trips to New York
City and Canada, the couple will be
at home at 1650 South avenue.
For her traveling outfit the bride
chose a suit of pale blue gabardine
with white accessories. She wore a
corsage of red roses.
The out-of-town guests were Miss
Josephine Frank, of Sayre Pa.; Mrs.
Althea Mason, Mrs. Isabelle Ryan
and Misses Dorothy and Nona Ma-
son and Robert Mason, of Toronto,
Ont.
