Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Wicks, Linwood
avenue, announce the date
and wedding plans of their daughter.
Miss Janet Lois Wicks, to Mr.
Deuel Chase Woodward, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Woodward. James
avenue. The wedding will be solemnized
December 29, at 7 o clock
at the Pierce avenue Presbyterian
church.
Miss Carol Stevens, Oakfield,
cousin of the bride will be maid of
honor.
Miss Geraldine Ambler and Mrs.
Donald A. Walck. sister of the bridegroom,
wili be bridesmaids.
Mr. Charles Woodward, Jr.. brother
of the bridegroom, will be the
best man. Mr. Donald M. Frey and
Mr". Donald Walck will be ushers.
The wedding reception will be
held from 8 to 10 p. m. at the Red
Coach Inn.

The marriage.of Miss Janet Lois
Wicks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold
L.' Wicks," Lin wood avenue, and
Mr. Deuel Chase Woodward, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Woodward,
James avenue, will be solemnized this
evening at the Pierce avenue Presbyterian
church with the-Rev. Bruce
Tucker officiating;;
The altar of the church will be
banked with tall baskets of flowers
with a .background of palms and
ferns. Mrs.'Irene Peck at the organ,
will provide the musical setting for
the double "ring ceremony.
The bride-elect will snter the
church with-her father, wearing a
gown of ivory satin with Chantilly
lace bodice and full skirt with court
train, the bodice designed with portrait
neckline embroidered with pearl
edging. Her "headdress of matching
material, fashioned in fingertip length,
will fall from an illusion halo. She
will carry a sheath of aalla lilies.
Miss Carol Ann Stevens, 'cousin
of the bride, will be- the maid of
honor. She will give a lovely color
note to,the bridal party with her
gown of mauve satin with rhinestone
trim.
Mrs. Donald Walck. sister of the
bridegroom, and Miss Geraldine
Ambler, as bridesmaids will carry out
the same designs in their gowns as
that featured by the maid of honor.
One will wear a gown of mauve
satin with bow neckline and the other
a gown of delph blue with,bow neckline.
Each will carry yellow roses
with cascading ivy.
The ring bearer will be Glenn
Pfisterer.
Mr. Charles Woodward will be
the best man and the ushers will be
Mr. Donald Walck and Mr. Donald
Frey.
Immediately after the ceremony
there will be a reception at the Red
Coach inn from 8 to 10 o'clock.
The mother of the bride will wear
a gown of aqua crepe with lace
bodice and corsage of white camellias.
The mother of the bridegroom will
wear navy blue crepe with rhinestone
.trim with corsage of camellias.
For a trip to Mexico the brideelect
will wear a cinnamon brown
gabardine suit with beige accessories
worn with a green orchid.
After February 1 Mr. Woodward
and his bride will reside temporarily
at 815 James avenue.
