A late autumn wedding was solemnized
on the evening of November
7 in the rectory of St. Joseph's
church, when Miss Eileen Wackett,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Wackett, became the bride of Staff
Sergeant John Robert .Love, son of
Mrs. Maude Love, of Salt Lake City,
Utah.
Miss Wackett was attired in a
white taffeta and chiffon gown cut
on Princess lines with a sweetheart
neckline. She wore a fingertip
veil with a wreath of flowers at the
crown, giving it a halo affect, and
carried a colonial bouquet of white
carnations and pink roses.
Miss Jessie Wackett, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor and only
attendant. She was gowned in pale
blue chiffon and carried a Colonial
bouquet of pink roses and white
carnations. Her. headdress was a
tiara of pink flowers.
Mr. Joseph Caimano, of this city,
brother of the bride, was the bridegroom's
only attendant.
The bride's mother wore an
afternoon dress of black crepe. Her
corsage was of roses and fall flowers.
Immediately after the ceremony a
reception was held from 9 to 12
o'clock at the home of the bride's
parents. The newly-wedded couple
later hits week will leave for Florida,
where the bridegroom is stationed.
Among the out-of-town guests
were Mr. and Mrs. James Caimano
and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Mann,
all of Buffalo.
