LQCKPORT-Mrs. Ella B.
Volschow, 78, of 48 Saxton
St., died today (March 4, 1964)
in Hill Top (Nursing Home,
Gasport, after, being ill for
seven months.
Born here Aug. 7, 1885, the
daughter of Frederick and
Bertha Arndt Seelow, she had
lived here all of her life. She
was a member of the First
Presbyterian Church and the
Women's Association of that
church and a past president
of the John E. Pound PTA.
Surviving are her husband,
Joseph H. Volschow, a retired
general c o n t r a c t o r ; three
daughters, Mrs. Aloysius F.
Ulrich, Mrs. Robert W. Bennett
and Mrs.' Edmund H.
Brown; a sister, Mrs. William
G. Thiele, all of Lockport; a
brother, Lewis W. Seelow,
Escondido, Calif.; seven grandchildren,
eight great-grandchildren
and several nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call from 24
and 7-9 p.m. at the Lange Funeral
Home. A service will be
conducted at 2 p.m. Friday
by Rev. W. James Westhafer,
pastor of the First Presbyterian
Church. Burial will be in
Wright's Corners Cemetery.
