LOCKPORT Sf. Peter Lutheran Church
was the setting for the marriage of Miss Gail
A. Herbst and David C Miller Sunday (March
21, 1971). The Rev. David Musall officiated at
the 2 P.m. double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs ,
Elmore K. Herbst, 4427 Ridge Road, and Mr.
Miller is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Miller, Maple Ridge Road, Medina.
'GIVEN IN MARRIAGE by her father, the
bride was attired in a gown of peau de soie
accented at the bodice with a fitted yoke of reembroidered
Alencon lace. The A-line gown
was styled with a high neckline, lantern sleeves
and chapel length train accented with Alencon
lace. She wore a bouffant veil and carried a
colonial bouquet of white butterfly roses, pompons,
miniature carnations, springeri and
baby's breath.
Miss Janice Strasburg of Greece, N.Y., was
maid of honor. She wore a gown of blue chiffon
over taffeta trimmed with lace at the bodice
and sleeves. She wore a matching headpiece
and carried a colonial bouquet of blue carnations,
white daisies and baby's breath. Miss
Barbara Miller, sister of the bridegroom, was
bridesmaid and Jill Herbst, sister of the bride,
was junior bridesmaid. They wore similarly
styled gowns.
THOMAS SCHMOLT was best man. Ushers
were John Herbst and Mark Herbst, brothers
of the bride.
A reception was held at the Apple Grove
Inn, Medina.
After their wedding trip, the couple will
reside in Honeye Falls.
