LYNDONVILLE - John C.
Wolfe, 74, of East Yates Center
Road, died Thursday (Nov. 14,
1968) in Medina Memorial Hospital,
where he had been a patient
for nine days.
Born Oct. 20, 1894, in Lewis-
ton, he was the son of John and
Rachel Tasch Wolfe. A former
Niagara Falls', N.Y., resident,
he and his wife, the former
Irene Markle, moved -to this
area in 1945.
He was a member of the Trinity
Lutheran Church, Medina,
and was a veteran of World
War I. He was wounde'd during
the.battle of the Argonne Forest.
In addition to his wife, sur-
vivors include three sisters,
Mrs. Thomas Manning of Lyn-
donville, Mrs. Minnie Raney of
Albion, and Mrs. Arthur Manning
of Niagara Falls, Out.; a
brother, Walter of Niagara
Falls, N.Y., and several nieces
and nephews.
F'uneral services will be held
Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Trinity
Lutheran Church. Officiating
will be the Rev. Wilber Lottes.
Buriai will be in Hartland Central
Cemetery.
Friends may call- at the
Smythe Funeral Home, 126 N
Main St., here, today from 7 to
9 p.m., and Saturday from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
