The bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. James Knize. also of this

KnUe-Jayne
St. James Methodist church was
the setting.Saturday for the wedding
of Miss Dorothy M. Jayne. daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen W. Jayne,
Angevine avenue, to Mr. James J.
Knize, son of Mr. and Mrs. James
Knize, Linwood avenue. The Rev.
Chester C. Beebe officiated at the
ceremony;
The bride entered the church on
the arm of her father. She wore a
gown with a Chantilly lace top, mandarin
collar and pointed bodice but-
toned at the back, pannier sides
ending in a bustle back over a full
gathered nylon marquisette skirt over
taffeta. Her finger tip veil of French
imported illusion was held in place
by a Juliet cap of lace. she carried a
colonial bouquet of white chrysan-
themums and white carnations with
a cluster of white roses in the center,
Her only attendant was Mrs. Vin-
cent J. Presutti, Jr., sister of the
bride, whose gown was of Nile green
taffeta and marquisette with a match-
ing picture hat. she carried a Col-
onial bouquet of yellow chrysanthe-
mums, yellow daises with a cluster
of yellow roses in the center.
The best man was Mr. James
Mitchell.
A Reception was held at the home
of the bridegrooms' brother, Mr.
Henry Knize and Mrs. Knize, Lewis-
ton.
The bride's mother wore a navy
blue dress with white accessories.
the bridegroom's mother wore a
navy and white summer print with
white accessories. Each wore a cor-
sage of small white carnations and
red roses.
For going away the bride chose
a light tan suit with green accessories.
After their wedding trip to the New
England states the couple will re-
side at 9324 Angevine Avenue.
