- Barbara F. James, 82, of North Tonawanda, Wednesday (January 6, 2021) at home surrounded by family under the care of Niagara Hospice. Mrs. James was born in North Tonawanda, New York on July 1, 1938 to Frederick Albert and Helen Jennie (Zajaczkowski) Pich. Barbara retired from High Grade distributors, she was a former Girl Scout Leader, member of Zion Group. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling, going to her grandchildren and great grandchildren's sporting events, volunteering at Shea's Buffalo, and working on future North Tonawanda High School Reunions. Barbara was predeceased by her parents and son James William Keller, Jr.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 45 years, Phillip R. James, mother of Tracey (Michael) Warning, and Don (Lois) Keller, step daughter of Jean Pich, sister of Frederick (Marolyn) Pich, and Nancy (Richard) Watson, grandmother of Jammie (Ken) Horn, Michael Warning, Jr.; Lindsay (Charles, Jr.) Sanfilippo, Carlos Keller, Brittany (Justin) Thomas, Chelsea Kobe, and Nicholas Seth, great grandmother of Zachary, Andrew, Nolan, and Olivia Horn, Michael Dahlman, Charles Sanfilippo, III, and Henry Sanfilippo, also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Wattengel Funeral Home , 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda. Interment White Chapel Memorial Park. If desired memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice or Shea's Buffalo.
