Miss Evelyn Beulah Spurr, daughter
of Mrs. Beulah M. Spurr of Noi -
walk Avenue, became the bride of
Clifford Eaton Brownell, son pt Mr.
and Mrs. Elmer M. Brownell o* Roycroft
Boulevard, Snyder, at 9 o'clock
Thursday evening at the bride's
home. The ceremony was performed
by the Rev. George B. McCiung.
The bride, who was given away
by her uncle, Robert H. Weist, was
dressed in white broche chiffon and
carried a bouquet of white roses. The
bridesmaid, Miss Florence Lavin,
wore a gown of powder blue and
carried pink roses.
Mrs. Carl V. Johnson of Alien
played the wedding march. Ray S.
Spurr, brother of the bride, was best
man.
The bride's mother wore a gown
of blue velvet with a corsage. The
bridegroom's mother wore red velvet
with a corsage. The house was
decorated with poinsettias, bunches
of white chrysanthemums and ropes
of ground pine and lighted white
candles.
After the ceremony a buffet supper
was served to about 40 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Brownell will be at
home after Friday at 340 Taunton
Avenue.
