The marriage of Miss Estelle Pearl
Stever, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Martin Gardener Stever, of R. F. R.
No. 1, Niagara Falls, and Philip
Britton, son of Mr: and Mrs. Samuel
Britton. also of R. F. R., No. 1, took
place Saturday, August 37, at the
Pierce avenue Presbyterian church,
this, city, with the Rev. Mr. Todd,
of the Presbyterian church, Warren,
Pa., officiating at the ceremony.
Gladioli and ferns were effectively
used as decorations in the church.
The bride wore a gown of white
chiffon made on princess lines. The
bodice was cut with square neckline,
with a pearl cluster at each side.
The Queen Anne collar and cleverly
arranged buttons from collar to
waistline completed the costume. Her
finger-tip veil fell from a crown of
seed pearls and orange blossoms.
She carried pale yellow roses and
baby's breath.
Miss Doris Lorraine Eidt, maid of
honor and only attendant, wore a
gown of peach chiffon with bolero
of tiny flowers. She wore blue slippers
and headdress to match and
her corsage was of pale yellow tea
roses and baby's breath.
Samuel Britton, brother of the
groom, was best man and William
W. Broadbent and Jack Britton were
ushers.
The bride's mother wore a navy
blue crepe gown and the mother of
the groom wore a raspberry lace
gown. After a trip to the Thousand
Islands, Mr. and Mrs. Britton will
make their home at R. F. R. No. 1,
Niagara Falls.

A decree of divorce by Supreme
Court Justice Regis O'Brien has
dissolved the marriage of a Ni-
agara Falls couple, accrding to
records filed in the office of
County Clerk Frank A Woock at
Lockport.
The decree was granted to Es-
telle P. Britton, 1313 Whitney
Ave.. from Philip C.. Britton, Ni-
agara Falls. They were married
here Aug. 27, 1938.
The wife was granted custody
of two children and the husband
was directed to pay $30 weekly
for their support.
