An attractive wedding ceremony was solemnized Tuesday
morning at 9 o'clock in St. Patrick'. Church, when Mis.
Margarite Braun of 194 Saxton St. became the bride of Sergt.
George Virrill. of N ew York City.
The Rev. Richard J. Deasy was -
celebrant assisted by the Rev
George A. O'Neill and the Rev.
Michael J. Campbell. Mass was sung
by Norbert Fritton and Miss Helen
Schaffert was soloist.
Bride Wears Lace
The bride,, who was given in mar-
riage by her brother, Francis Braun,
wore a bridal gown fashioned with
a white lace bodice, long sleeves
coming to a point at the wrists,
ninon skirt and full-length train.
Her finger-tip veil was fastened to
a crown of seed pearls. She
carried a bouquet of gardenias and
camellias centered with two orchids.
Miss Helen Furlong, maid of
honor, wore a powder blue dress
with lace bodice and ninon skirt.
She carried yellow tea roses and
wore roses in her hair. Mrs. George
E. Virrill, mother of the groom,
wore a black and white crepe dress
and corsage of roses.
Ralph Hoenig was best man and
ushers were Floyd Wilson of Ni-
ara Falls and Raphael Tuohey.
Reception Follows
The church altar was banked with
gladioli and red carnation., roses,
gladioli and daffodil, decorated the
home of the bride', sister. Mrs.
Ralph Hoenlg, 390 Prospect St.
where a reception was held to 35
guests. Covers were laid for 20 at
the bridal table, decorated with
candles, a flower centerpiece and
the wedding cake.
Sergt and Mrs. Virrill left for
New York City, the bride wearing
a mulberry traveling dress with
matching accessories.
Out-of-town guests included the
groom's parent., Mr. and Mrs.
George Vlrrtn of New York City and
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wilson of Niagara
Falls
