- Carl W. Braham, 57, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Joyce (Stark) Braham and William A. Braham.
Carl attended local schools, graduating from Trott Vocational High School in 1978. He served in the United States Marine Corps in active duty from 1978 until 1982, and later in reserve duty from 1982 to 1984. Carl was a Lance Corporal Machine Gunner, and he earned multiple medals including the Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Rifle Badge Marksman and Pistol Badge Marksman Medals.
On October 20, 1990, Carl married his loving wife of 27 years, Michelina F. “Mickey” (D’Amico) Braham. Carl was employed as an automotive technician for Mullane Motors in Lockport, NY. He enjoyed his motorcycles and ATV and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Sabres fan. In addition, he liked working around his house and on cars. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Braham is survived by his son, Vincent W. Braham; his siblings, Robert (Kelly) Braham, Karen (Raymond) Saldaña, Laura (Glenn) Stewart; his sister-in-law, Josephine Smeal, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister, Katherine Braham, and his in-laws, Vincenzo and Rita D’Amico.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15th from 3 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services held at 7 P.M, concluding with Military Honors. Inurnment will be held in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery in Lewiston, NY at the convenience of the family.
