ZION EVANGELICAL CHURCH was the setting
Saturday (May 28, 1966) for the marriage of Miss
Candace L. Hildebrandt and John E. Burke.
-Rev. Paul R. Swank officiated at the 2 p.m., double-
ring ceremony uniting the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Charles P. Hildebrandt, 2216 21st St., and.the
son of Mrs. Betty. Burke, 1514 Main St.
THE BRIDE was given in
marriage by her father. She
wore a gown of satin peaii de
soie and Chantilly lace with
s e a l loped Sabrina neckline
and Watteau train. Her headpiece,
a matching bow^ held
her bouffant veil. She carried
a colonial bouqtiet of white
roses and lily of the valley.
Miss" Barbara C. Craver,
maid of honor, was attired in
a gown of turquoise blue silk
and matching butterfly headbow
with maline v e i l . Her
roses w e r e arranged in a
colonial bouquet.
Similarly attired in p a le
blue was Miss Ruth E. Bleecher,
bridesmaid.
ROBERT E. LEVERING
was best map. Ushers were
Daniel Burke, brother of the
bridegroom,' and B. Joseph
Thiboult.
A- reception was held at the
home of the bride after the
ceremony.
The mother of the bride
received her guests attired in
turquoise silk and white accessories.
'The bridegroom's
mother chose a Navy blue en-,
s e m a b l e complemented by
white accessories. . -
After a wedding, trip to the
East Coast, the bride will reside
in 21st Street and the
bridegroom will resume his
service with the Navy aboard
the USS Ingraham.
