SKEETS - Oliver G. Skeets
passed away suddenly at his
home, 55 Oliver Street.

Woodbridge, Va. Also survived
by twelve grandchildren and
f i v e great grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday
evening from 7 to 9 and
Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 o'clock at Prudden and
Kandt Funeral Home, 242
Genesee Street, where funeral
services will be held Friday
morning and 8:30 and 9 o'clock
at St. Mary's Church. Interment
in Cold Springs Cemetery.

Oliver G. Skeets, 70, of 55
Oliver St., died unexpectedly
Tuesday at his home of an apparent
heart attack.
Mr. Skeets was born July 16,
1900 in Newfane, the son of
Henry and Christiana Stoddard
Skeets. He was the husband of
the late Gladys Bistoff who died
Nov. 11, 1970.
A resident of Lockport for
about 68 years, Mr. Skeets was
e m p l o y e d as a machine
operator at Harrison Radiator
Division, General Motors Corp.,
for 42 years. He retired in 1965.
M. Skeets leaves two
daughters, Mrs. David (Mary)
Strong, Lockport, and Mrs.
H a r o l d (Joyce) Mohaupt,
Woodbridge, Va.; 12 grandchildren
and five great
grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7-9 this
evening and from 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. Thursday at the Prudden
and Kandt Funeral Home, 242
Genesee St., where funeral
services will be held at 8:30
a.m. Friday and at 9 a.m. at
St. Mary's Church.
Burial will be in Cold Spring
Cemetery
