Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Bernat, 6909 Fron-
tier Ave., announce the engagement of their
daughter, Miss Carol Lynn Bernat, to Danny
Sharp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Sharp,
Hartley, Texas.
Miss Bernat, a 1965 graduate of LaSalle
High School, will graduate in June from Otero
College in LaJunta, Colo., with an A.A. degree
in elementary education.
Mr. Sharp is a 1964 graduate of Hartley
High School and is a junior majoring in
psychology and art at Southern Colorado State
College in Pueblo, Colo.
The wedding will take place July 15 in
Hartley.

HARTLEY, Tex.-Aiter a wedding trip to
Raton, New Mexico, Mr. and Mrs. Danny
Sharp will make their home in Pueblo, Colo.,
where the bridegroom is attending Southern
Colorado State College.
The bride is the former Miss Carol Lynn
Bernat, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen
Bernat, 6909 Frontier Ave., Niagara Falls,
N.Y. Mr. Sharp is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Clifton Sharp, Hartley.
The Rev. C. C. Dorn officiated at' the
single-ring wedding service which took place
Saturday (July 15, 1967) at Hartley Methodist
Church.
Given in marriage by her father, the
bride wore a gown of silk peau de soie with
Alencon lace motifs appliqued on the sleeves,
bodice and train. She wore a pearl-edged
coronet trimmed with lily of the valley, and
carried white orchids and yellow roses.
Mrs. Steven Neff, Bloomington, Ind., sister
of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Miss Laura Bernat, also sister of
the bride, Niagara' Falls, N.Y., and Miss
Cathy Beek, Colorado Springs. Billie Jo
Sharp, Hartley, was flower girl.
Best man was the bridegroom's brother,
Vernon Sharp. Joseph Patterson and Norman
Harbert were ushers.
An" afternoon reception was held in the
church hall immediately after the ceremony.
