NORTH TONAWANDA. June 12
-Louis B. Berhalter, 56, of 76 Keil
street, was found dead yesterday afternoon
in his automobile which was
parked in a grove in the Shawnee
road. Mrs. Jacob Dexheimer, Shawnee
road, discovered the car. Dr.
Henry C. Lapp, coroner, was notified
and is investigating.
Mr. Berhalter was a native of this
city and had lived here all his life.
He was a foreman at the Rudolph
Wurlitzer company plant and a member
of the Holy Name society of Ascension
church and the Knights of
Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, Nellie Seguin
Berhalter; two tons, Robert
and James; his mother. Mrs. Margaret
Berhalter; three brothers,
Frank, Willjam and Joseph, and a
sister,' Miss Lola Berhalter, all of
this city.
Services will be held Thursday at
8:30 a.m. from the Hamp Funeral
home and at 9 o'clock at Ascension
church. Interment will be in Mt.
Olivet cemetery.
