The marriage of Miss Jean G
Blonkowski, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. William Blonkowski of 356 Vine
street, to John A. Kowalski, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Kowalski of
30 Harwood street, was solemnised
in St. Joseph's church on Saturday,
Aug. 31, at 10 o'clock, the Rev. B. L.
Noznlak of Niagara Falls performing
the ceremony.
The bride, given to marriage by
her father, won a gown of white
taffeta fashioned on princess lines
with buttons down the back and a
long tram. Her full-length veil was
held In place by a crown of seed
pearls. She carried white
gardenias and baby's breath.
Miss Mary C. Blonkowski
maid of honor and bridesmaids
were Miss Rose Kowalski of Lockport
and Miss Adeline Kush of Buffalo.
Flower girls were the bride's
sister, Delores Blonkowski and the
groom's niece, Irene Wilcsek.
Stanley Blonkowski was batt man
and ushers were John Fura of Lockport
and Louis Szwajkowskt of
Buffalo.
The maid of honor won a taffeta
dress of old rose with blue net veil
and flowers in her hair. The bridesmaids'
dresses were aqua taffeta
with peach flowers to their hair.
They carried bouquets of pink roses,
carnations and gypsophlla tied with
taffeta ribbons matching their
dresses.
The bride's mother wore navy
blue chiffon with a taffeta redingote
and white accessories and the
groom's mother wore blue with black
accessories. Both wore shoulder
corsages of tea roses.
Church decorations were of pink
glladioli. Frederick Kroczinski of
Buffalo, organist, played the wedding
music and "Ava Maria" was
by Adam Prelevicz of North
Tonawanda.
A receptlon to 250 guests was held
at Eagles' hall, Pine street. Fifteen
were seated at the bridal table, dec-
orated with the bride's cake and
gladioli.
Mr. and Mrs. Kowalski left for a
wedding trip to Washington and At-
lantic City. After their return they
will make their home at 29 Har-
wood street.
Out-of-town guests were from
Buffalo, North Tonawanda, Lyndon-
ville, Niagara Falls, Cheektowaga
and Albion.
