- Donna Lee (Meyers) Banker, of Niagara Falls, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Northgate Health Care Facility. She was 76. She was born in Niagara Falls, New York on July 15, 1941, the daughter of Herman C. and Esther P. (Profrock) Meyers.
Donna worked as a beautician for many years at the former Heritage Manor on Buffalo Avenue. She had many interests. Donna loved ceramics, baking, cooking and camping with her family at Woodstream Campsite. She and her husband, Phillip enjoyed winters together in Florida for many years.
A member of St. James United Methodist Church, Donna was an active volunteer. She especially loved her work with SonRays Ministries in Erie County. She also attended First Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Phillip W. Banker of Niagara Falls; two daughters, Deborah Ann Wisniewski (Edward) of Newfane and Sherry Lyn Kellinsky (Allen) of Ransomville; a sister, Shirley Miller (Charles) of Sanborn; grandchildren, Nicholas, Brandi, Kara, Melissa, Lauren and Victoria; great grandchildren, Jade, Danica, Charity and Noah, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her brother, Roland Meyers and her beloved bichon poo, Scruffy.
The family will be present Monday from 4-7PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where the Rev. Matthew Kofahl will conduct Funeral services Tuesday at 11 AM. The interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Roswell Park.
