The marriage of Miss Lucille
A. Thiebolt, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Philip Thiebolt ol 28 Benton
street, to Mr. Sylvester N.
Lesmeister was solemnized on Saturday
morning, February 15 at
10 o'clock in St. Francis church,
the Very Rev. John A. Weismantel
performing the ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a gown of
white bridal satin, made princess
style, and her finger tip veil of
illusion fell from a halo of orange
blossoms. Her shower bouquet
was of tea roses and sweetpeas.
Miss Florence Schultz was the
bridesmaid, wearing pink mousseline
de soie with a headdress of
matching flowers, and Mr. George
Lesmeister, brother of the groom,
was best man.
The bride's mother wore a pink
crepe gown with a matching hat
and a corsage.
Following the ceremony a wedding
breakfast was given at the
Eagles' hall which was beautifully
decorated in pink and white, and
later a large reception was given
with an orchestra providing music
for dancing. The bride's table
was centered with a large wedding
cake and further adorned with
flowers and candles.
Among the guests present from
out of town were Mr. and Mrs.
Raymond Whitmer and Mr. Charles
Wright of Emporium, Pa.;
Mr. Henry Lesmeister of Byrnedale,
Pa., and friends from surrounding
towns.
Among those who entertained
at prenuptial parties in the bride's
honor were her mother and her
sister, Mrs. Harold Smith, Mrs.
Henry Mowitz, Mrs. Dewey Montgomery.
Mr. and Mrs. Lesmeister have
gone on a short wedding trip and
upon their return will reside in
452 Oliver street.
