Vases of pink and white
carnations, pom pons and
cedar graced Trinity Lutheran
Church Nov. 3 for the marriage
of Patricia Ann Quintern and
Mark Chris Wurl.
The Rev. Willson officiated at
the 6 p.m. candlelight service
uniting the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Donald R. Quintern of 2799
Angling Road, Medina, and the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman C.
Wurl of 3200 Hess Road, Appleton.
Given in marriage by her
parents, the bride wore a gown
fashioned of chantilly lace,
featuring a Queen, Anne
neckline, adorned with pearl
trim and full bishop sleeves
with a deep lace cuff. The skirt
was fashioned of two tiers of
lace and bordered in matching
lace. The train featured six
tiers of chantilly lace. She wore
a picture hat of Venice lace
with a full length veil and
blusher. She carried A crescent
cascade of white pom pons,
mums, red roses, baby's
breath, greens and streamers
of red velvet cord, accented
with velvet cord throughout the
bouquet.
Sharon VanAucker of Medina
was the matron of honor for her
sister. Bridesmaids were Linda
Oswald of Lockport, Linda
Harris of Middleport, Beth Ann
Wurl of Appleton and
Whiting of Akron, N.Y.
They wore garnet qiana knit
gowns, fashioned with cape like
sleeves. Matching picture hats
completed their ensembles.
The matron of honor carried
three pink roses and baby's
breath, accented with white
streamers, and the
bridesmaids each carried a
single, pink rose accented with
pink streamers.
Douglas Wurl of Appleton,
brother of the groom, served as
best man. Ushering duties were
performed by Darrell Oswald
of Lockport, Russell Harris of
Middleport, Mike Hayes of
Victor and Ken Kowalski of
Cheektowaga.
A reception was held
following the ceremony at the
Middleport Fire Hall with outof-
town guests attending from
Albion, Alabama Center,
Batavia, Barker, Buffalo,
Franklynville, Holley, LeRoy,
Lyndonville, Lockport, Middleport,
Rochester, Victor,
Watertown, Ohio, Florida and
Pennsylvania.
Following a wedding trip to
Canada, the couple are residing
at 1321 Lexington Ave.,
Rochester.
