The chapel at the National Naval
Medical Center. Bethesda, Md. was
the setting May 7 for the wedding
of Miss Doris I Brodfuehrer.
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer
Brodfuehrer, 420 Stanley St. to
Ransom Donald Jones. H. M. first
class, of Phoenix, Ala.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father. She wore a white
brocaded nylon dress with an illusion
neckline and a small white
lace hat and carried pink roses on
a prayer book.
Miss Patricia Franks, the bride's
only attendant, wore a light blue
nylon dress with white accessories
and a corsage of red roses. Norbert
Dauphin, H. M., attended the
bridegroom as best man.
The mother of the bride wore a
gray suit with black accessories
and a corsage of pink roses.
Following the ceremony, a wedding
dinner was served at the Dinner
Bell Restaurant, Bethesda,
Maryland. For her wedding trip to
New York City the bride wore a
tan suit with brown accessories
and a corsage o! pink roses.
In addition to the bride's parents
those attending the wedding
were her two sisters, Mrs. Jerome
Bumgasser and Miss Ruth Brodfuehrer
and her brother and his
wife. Mr. and Mrs. James Brodfuehrer.
The bride served as a WAVE in
the Medical Center at Bethesda.
