A double wedding took place
Saturday noon at the home of the
bride's parents, when Miss Ivaloo
Covey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
F. E. Covey of 347 Frontier avenue,
was united in marriage to
Mr. Arthur L. Behrens, son of
Mrs. Minnie Andrus of 14 Hagen
avenue, and her sister. Miss Ethel
Covey was wed to Willard Johns,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace
Johns of Linwood avenue. North
Tonawanda. The ceremony was
performed in front of an altar
banked with flowers in the living
room, the Rev. Theodore Mayer,
officiating.
Miss Ivaloo Covey wore an aqua
blue chiffon gown and carried a
bouquet of gladioli and baby's
breath. Miss Ethel Covey wore a
white French chiffon gown and
carried roses and baby chrysanthemums.
Following the ceremony, a wedding
dinner was held with 50
guests present. The out-of-town
guests present were: Mr. and Mrs.
Hughie Williams of Ilion, N. Y.,
Mrs. David Williams and daughter
Marguerite of Ilion, Delmont
R. Plerson of Richfield Springs,
N. Y,, Mr. and Mrs John Bowling
of Buffalo and Mrs, F. E. Covey
of Jamestown, N. Y,
Following a short wedding trip
Mr. and Mrs. Johns will be at
home in 347 1-2 Frontier avenue
and Mr. and Mrs. Behrens will
be at home in 14 Hagen avenue.
