    Valley, Calif., sister of Mrs.
    Raymond (Vernette) Genter of
    Lockport died May 25 of injuries
    suffered in an auto accident
    on May 10 in California.
    She was born in Niagara Falls
    on May 28, 1014, a daughter
    of W. Allan Bayne, now of
    Ransomvflle, and the late Mrs.
    Clara Bayne. She had resided
    in California about 40 years.
    S u r v i v o r s include her
    husband, Charles Beebe; a son,
    Michael J. Friesen of Vlctorville,
    Calif.; a daughter,
    Shirley Taylor; at home; a
    granddaughter and a brother,
    Justin Bayne of Youngstown.
    Funeral services and burial
    were held Friday at Victorville.

    six grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren
    and several
    nieces and nephews. Funeral
    services Saturday, 9:30 a.m.
    from the Otto Redanz Funeral
    Home Inc., Michigan Ave. and
    Tenth, Niagara Falls and 10:30
    a.m. from the Immaculate
    C o n c e p t i o n Church, North
    Ridge. Interment in North
    Ridge Cemetery. The family
    will be present Thursday, 7-9
    p.m. and Friday 3-5 and 7-9
    p.m.

    Mr. And Mrs. W. A. Bayne, of
    LaSalle avenue, announce the marriage
    of their younger daughter,
    Vernette, to Sergeant Raymond
    Gentner, U. S. Marine Corps. Sergeant
    Gentner, who is stationed at
    Camp Le Jeune, North Carolina,
    is the son of Mrs. William A.
    Smith, of Waverly, New York.
    The ceremony was performed on
    September 29, in the rectory of St.
    Michael's church, Silver Sprlrigs,
    Maryland, by the Rev. Leo J. Mccormick.
    The bride was attired in
    a powder blue Wool frock with
    fuchsia accessories. She wore a
    dainty corsage of rosebuds.
    Miss Blanche Green, of Washington.
    D. C, was the bride's only
    attendant. The best man was
    Corporal Stanley Decker, U. S. Ma-
    rine Corps, also of Washington,
    D. C.
    After s hort honeymoon in
    Washington, D. C., Sergeant Gent-
    ner resumed his duties in North
    Carolina and Mrs. Genter re-
    turned to Niagara Falls, where she
    will reside with her parents.
